Council of Councils Meeting Summaries

The Council of Councils was established by the NIH Reform Act of 2006 to advise the NIH Director on matters related to the policies and activities of the Division of Program Coordination, Planning, and Strategic Initiatives (DPCPSI). Since its inception, the Hill Group has provided science writers to prepare summaries of all meetings.

In response to the diabetes epidemic among American Indians and Alaska Natives, Congress established the SDPI grant programs in 1997. The Report to Congress provides information about the activities and evaluation of all three components of the grant program: the Community-Directed Diabetes Programs, the Demonstration Projects, and the Diabetes Data Infrastructure.
